| Photo is in Ray's work area 1.5 miles from the Launch Pad and shows Saturn V Moon Rocket in the background with the moon above Ray's head. As he did on most all Apollo Launches Ray had reported for work around 3:30 AM and this was the day Apollo 11 was launched to land man on the moon for the first time. Also first time private cameras were allowed on KSC |
